Located on Auckland’s North Shore in beautiful Centennial Park, Campbell’s Bay is Pupuke Golf Club. The 2023 Golf New Zealand Club of the Year boasts over 1,000 members and attracts over 45,000 rounds of golf a year. We pride ourselves in offering an exceptional experience both off and on the course.

We are looking for a fresh and innovative caterer to run our Kitchen and coffee shop. As club caterer we are looking for you to provide the members with traditional day-to-day café style food as well as catering for large-scale corporate golf days, buffet and sit-down dinners and other catered events as needed.

We are looking for a caterer to come in and enhance the catering options to complement the needs and preferences of our members. We believe that great food is a key part of the overall experience at the Club.

The Club is looking at two options:

Option 1 – Chef/Catering Manager

This person would be part of the team at Pupuke and responsible for overseeing our catering options. This role provides someone with the opportunity to take management of the kitchen and café, manage daily activities and lead the catering operations under the Pupuke name.

We are looking for caterers who can bring a fresh perspective to our dining options for both members, guests, and events. To apply, please submit your proposal outlining your catering experience and why you believe you would be an excellent fit at Pupuke.

Responsibilities include:

· Ensure the exceptional delivery of customer service standards.

· Promote, plan and deliver events and functions designed to maximise revenue and utilization of hospitality areas.

· Ensure F&B areas remain in usable, safe and presentable states at all times.

· Daily management of staff including training and development.

· Ensure adherence to Food Safety Plan and hygiene standards.

· Ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with all key stakeholders while delivering exceptional customer service.

Option 2: Expression of Interest – Pupuke Catering Services Provider.

Pupuke hosts a variety of events throughout the year including corporate events, tournaments, social events and more. We are looking for a Catering Services Provider (CSP) who can deliver high- quality food offerings that meet the diverse needs of our members and guests. The successful CSP should have experience in the catering industry and be reliable and provide outstanding customer service.

We are potentially looking to outsource catering services to an experienced partner who would be keen to maximize the potential of Pupuke Golf Club for mutual commercial benefit. We believe that there is a significant opportunity to attract new business from the local community through social functions and private events. Pupuke is keen to broaden the Club’s social-economic footprint across the local area.

Requirements will include:

· Menu – The successful CSP should be able to provide a range of on-the-go food items such as sandwiches, savories, and sweets as well as menu options for sit down club house catering.

· Hours – The CSP should be able to provide a service during club hours as well as during special events, tournaments, and other agreed catering events outside of regular club hours.

· Staff – The CSP should have an adequate number of staff to provide well trained, professional, and courteous staff.

· Quality and Presentation – The CSP should have a strong commitment to quality and presentation. All food should be well prepared and presented in a professional manner.

Interested CSP’s should submit a proposal that includes the following information:

· Introduction – A brief introduction to the CSP, including a description of their experience in the catering industry. This should include their vision to deliver and develop the catering.

Menu – A proposal that shows a variety of options and pricing for both day-to-day food options as well as for different type of events.

· Staff – A description of the CSP’s staffing plan including kitchen management and front of house staff.

· References – Contact information for at least three references from previous clients.
