Carrington Golf Club is one of the premier golf clubs in the area and are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Golf Operations Manager to join our dynamic team. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth functioning of our golf operations and delivering exceptional service to our valued members and guests.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee all aspects of golf operations, including tee time scheduling, golf shop, golf cart management, equipment maintenance. merchandising, tournament management, and overall customer experience.
  2. Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the efficient day-to-day operations of the golf club.
  3. Manage and train a team of dedicated staff, ensuring they provide unparalleled service to our clientele.
  4. Develop and implement efficient policies and procedures to optimise the operation of the golf course, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for all players.
  5. Coordinate with the Golf Course Superintendent to ensure the course is in excellent condition and meets the expectations of our members and guests.
  6. Collaborate with the Food and Beverage Department to coordinate Golf Tournaments, outings, and events, ensuring a seamless experience for participants.
  7. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of membership, guest play, reports, and financial statements related to golf operations.
  8. Foster positive relationships with members, guests, and other stakeholders to drive customer loyalty and enhance the reputation of our golf course.
  9. Collaborate with the groundskeeping team to maintain the golf course in impeccable condition, adhering to the highest standards of quality and safety.
  10. Stay up to date with industry trends, technologies, best practices, implement innovative ideas to continuously improve operational efficiency and revenue generation at Carrington Golf Club.

Qualifications:

A minimum of 5 years of experience in golf course operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Hospitality Management, or related field.

  • Proven experience in golf operations management, with an in-depth knowledge of golf rules, etiquette, and tournament operations.
  • A strong understanding of golf industry best practices and customer service excellence.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to interact professionally with members, guests, and staff.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to analyse financial data to drive revenue growth and cost-effective operations.
  • Proficient in golf management software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant applications.
  • Passion for golf and a strong knowledge of the game’s rules, etiquette, and trends. and a commitment to providing an exceptional experience for our members and guests.
  • PGA or GCSAA certification is preferred but not required.
