We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Golf Operations Manager to join our team and contribute to our continued success.
About the opportunity
As the Golf Operations Manager, you will report directly to the General Manager and play a crucial role in driving revenue growth for the club. You will work full-time Sunday to Thursday each week, with flexibility for evening work and attending tournaments when required. Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing and implementing strategies to increase revenue through sponsorship, memberships, corporate events, and marketing initiatives.
- Providing leadership and support to the golf operations staff, ensuring smooth operations and exceptional customer service.
- Acting as a first impressions ambassador for the club, maintaining a professional and hospitable demeanor at all times.
- Upholding excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and building positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintaining knowledge of industry guidelines, standards, and legislation, and ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
- Identifying and managing risks to yourself, the team, and the club, while promoting a culture of safety and accountability.
You will work closely with internal stakeholders, including course staff, office staff, and bar & catering staff, as well as external stakeholders such as club members, visitors, and the local community. You will also engage with contractors, suppliers, and relevant associations within the golf industry.

- An in-depth knowledge of the local Clarks Beach community.
- Experience with golf clubs and an understanding of how they operate.
- Experience in operations and event management.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-centric approach and a history of building strong working relationships.
- Exceptional organisational and time management abilities, with the capacity to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in technical skills and a willingness to adapt and learn new technologies.
- A keen eye for detail and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
- A commitment to upholding the values and standards of the club, including integrity, professionalism, and excellence.
