
Titirangi Golf Club, New Zealand’s only Alister MacKenzie-designed course, is seeking an enthusiastic and self-motivated Irrigation Technician / Greenkeeper to join our dedicated turf management team.
In addition to maintaining our course, we also manage course maintenance operations at nearby Maungakiekie Golf Club. This provides a unique opportunity to gain experience in both single-site and multi-site working environments.

About the Role
This is a hands-on position working closely with the Head Greenkeeper at Titirangi to ensure the efficient operation and application of the irrigation system. The role also includes participation in day-to-day course maintenance activities, supporting the wider turf team.
Weekend work on a rostered basis is required, with duties shared across both golf courses.
Key Responsibilities
· Maintain and operate Toro SitePro irrigation systems
· Monitor turf moisture using POGO sensors and other relevant technologies
· Undertake irrigation system repairs and maintenance
· Participate in general turf care and course maintenance
· Ensure adherence to health & safety practices and reporting procedures
Ideal Candidate Will Have
· Proven experience with Toro SitePro irrigation systems (essential)
· Experience using POGO moisture monitoring systems (essential)
· Minimum NZQA Level 4 Sports Turf Management qualification (or equivalent)
· Physical fitness to perform manual irrigation and turf maintenance tasks
· Basic knowledge of golf and course playability expectations
· Small machinery operation experience (essential)
· Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
· A reliable, honest, and proactive work ethic
· Good understanding of workplace health and safety protocols
