About the role:
As our Member Experience Officer you will serve as the primary contact for membership-related matters, delivering exceptional service and cultivating lasting relationships with our valued members. You will be an integral part of our administration team managing member relations, billing and recordkeeping, addressing inquiries, and resolving concerns. You will be involved with the promotion of club memberships, implementing retention strategies, and coordinating member events, tournaments, and social gatherings.
This is an on-site part-time role (average of 20 hrs per week) with flexibility of when the hours are worked (“school hours” are OK).
About you:
We are looking for someone with:
– knowledge of members/stakeholders management
– experience with CRM databases, e-marketing and using social media for engagement and business growth
– excellent writing and editing skills
– proficiency in Microsoft Office and content management systems.
To excel in this role you will have:
– a degree in marketing, communications, business, or similar field
– three or more years’ experience in a marketing or communications role
– attention to detail and strong organisational skills
– a proactive mindset with the ability to navigate change
– a passion for sport, health, and community engagement
– an interest in technology and its application for member engagement and marketing.
