Through the management of three Robertson Lodges, Rosewood Hotels & Resorts will shortly reach Oceania. On December 1st, the renowned New Zealand locations will formally be added to the luxury brand’s inventory. Rosewood wants to preserve the homes’ historical significance and carry on the caring for local cultures that benefactors Julian and Josie Robertson started in 2001.
According to HospitalityDesign, the 6,000-acre coastal estate known as the Northlands, where Rosewood Kauri Cliffs is located, has a pristine Pacific Ocean shoreline and is close to the Bay of Islands. The hotel has 26 beachfront rooms and suites, a restaurant, a fitness center, and a spa. It also has access to three private beaches, sheep and cow farms, a native forest, and a championship golf course.
On the east coast of the North Island in Hawke’s Bay, a region renowned for its food, wine, and adjacent Napier’s Art Deco buildings, is where you can find Rosewood Cape Kidnappers. There are 24 clifftop rooms and suites on the property, along with a golf course, restaurant, spa, and infinity pool. There are also views of the nearby hills and the ocean. The Cape Sanctuary, the largest privately sponsored wildlife restoration initiative in New Zealand, is also located at the resort.
The Remarkables, Cecil, and Walter Peak surround the rural, alpine lakeside getaway known as Rosewood Matakauri on the lower South Island. Its 13 guestrooms, restaurant, spa treatment rooms, wellness centers, and outdoor pool all have designs that have a familial and private feel and are inspired by the mountainous environment.
