
Otaki Golf Club, an 18-hole golf course situated on the Kapiti Coast, is looking for a part-time Administration Officer to undertake the office administration activities and administer the golf operations at the club.
The person would work alongside the other house staff and closely with the Club Manager, Otaki Golf Club Management Committee, Finance Committee and Golf Committee.
The main roles are to maintain the club membership base, deal with general administrative matters and enquiries relating to golf activities, assisting with clubroom operations, and handling daily club finances including payroll processing. A competency in DotGolf as well as Xero accounting software and POS or similar systems is an advantage as well as overall computer and administration ability, great verbal & written communication skills and a confident, friendly and helpful nature.
Skills required:
- Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
- Strong accuracy and data entry skills
- PC literacy with good understanding of social media and golf-related software systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Outstanding customer service skills with the ability to communicate to individuals and group with diverse backgrounds and interests.
- Experience working within a busy and constantly changing environment.
- Previous experience within a golfing environment or sports club administration is desirable
- Must be able to work additional hours as needed.
