A Cape Cod golf course nearing its winter closure suffered extensive damage when vandals tore up the greens by doing donuts.
Dennis Pines and Highlands, a par-71 course stretching 6,500 yards, sits on 175 acres of rolling terrain covered with pine and oak trees in northern Dennis.
The course, designed by Jack Kidwell and Mike Hurdzan, has been a fixture since its opening in 1984.
