The 44th Queen Sirikit Cup will be held this week at Christchurch’s Clearwater Golf Club, where some of the top amateur ladies in the world will be teeing off.
To determine who will win the 2024 Queen Sirikit Cup, 15 of the top 200 women in the world amateur golf rankings—representing 12 Asia-Pacific nations and territories—will compete over 72 holes starting today and ending on Saturday.
The hosts arrive at the function in excellent shape. Last week at the New Zealand Stroke Play, Eunseo Choi won her first national title, while Amy Im, a teammate, took home the bronze. Vivian Lu has also returned from her fourth Queen Sirikit Cup year of study in the United States.
