
Windross Farm Golf Course, one of the premier golf facilities in New Zealand and located 25km south of the Auckland CBD, is looking for a new Bar Manager to join the club hospitality team.

Working closely with the Operations Manager, your main focuses will be:
- Manage the bar and beverage service, including inventory management, ordering, and stocking of supplies.
- Develop and implement drink menus and specials that appeal to a wide range of customers.
- Train and supervise front-of-house staff, ensuring they are knowledgeable about beverage menus and service procedures.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations relating to the sale and service of alcohol.
- Manage the bar’s finances, including cash handling, reporting, and budgeting.
- Continuously evaluate the performance of the bar and make suggestions for improvement to management.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers, staff, and suppliers.
The successful applicant will be:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a golf course or premium hospitality setting.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
- Knowledge of beverage industry trends and regulations.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
Ideal work schedule will be Wednesday – Sunday, 40-45hrs per week (Daytime hours predominant).
