
After 43 years of tending the fairways and greens at Cambridge Golf Club, retiring greenkeeper Kevin Brown is ready to fully embrace his passions: golf and motorcycling.
As he steps away from his long-time responsibilities—managing chemical applications, perfecting mowing schedules, and maintaining equipment—Kevin plans to spend more time on the course as a player rather than a caretaker. He’s also eager to hit the open road on his pride and joy: a Triumph 900cc three-cylinder Adventure Tourer, perfect for exploring scenic backcountry routes.
Kevin was appointed turf manager of the club in 1981.
Over the years, Kevin has seen the club transform dramatically, with membership surging past 700, it was 400 when he began working with the club.
