The Gorge Road Country Club is after a NEW Club Facility Manager.

This is a fulltime position.
The Gorge Road Country Club is located 25km east of Invercargill following the scenic route towards the Catlins.
Reporting and working alongside the Club Committee, this full time position will ensure that the Bar, Bistro and Club is run effectively, efficiently and is an inviting place for our members to visit.
As our new Facility Manager, you will be passionate about high quality customer service and an active participant of the community vibe we have going on at the Club. You will be a strong leader who thrives in a team environment and will know your way around a bar.
The successful applicant will be responsible for:
- Day to day running of the Club
- Manage staff and rosters
- The ordering of alcohol and food
- Completing stock takes monthly
- Organizing and running of events alongside the Committee
- Maintaining bookwork e.g. memberships, compliance requirements
- Responsible for financial aspects of the Club e.g. alcohol and meal pricing, being aware of costs and expenditure
The requirements of the applicant:
- LCQ and Current Managers Certificate in accordance with the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the hospitality/bar/pub industry
- Strong customer service skills
- Friendly, approachable and energetic
- Show leadership and confidence
- Have impeccable time management
- Have experience managing staff
- Be able to work independently and as a team
- Be familiar with P.O.S software or similar
- Be willing to learn new skills and grow alongside the Clubs requirements
This position comes with accommodation – 3-bedroom house on property.
