A massive fire has destroyed a golf clubhouse in Australia’s Victoria, acccording to 9News. But the news grabbing the headlines was a man who was photographed finishing his round as the blaze engulfed the clubhouse behind him.
According to the club’s spokeperson, the fire began in a storage area where batteries and electric buggies were housed.
The fire destroyed the 180-square-meter Yarra Valley clubhouse entirely.
The staff and members of the club were forced to watch as their clubhouse was destroyed after the building was successfully evacuated.
The nearby 45km/h winds aided in the multi-million dollar property’s devastation.
Police, paramedics, and 11 firetrucks responded to the blaze.
