Three players are tied for third position in the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship in Scotland following the first round, including New Zealand’s Daniel Hillier.
Hillier completed the St Andrews Old Course with a bogey-free nine-under-par 63, including eagles on the fifth and fourteenth holes.
He is the highest-ranked player to begin the three-course competition on the Old Course, trailing leader Darren Fichardt of South Africa by two strokes.
