In this newly created role, you will be working alongside the Workshop Manager supporting the maintenance of our equipment and fleet vehicles that are used to keep our world class golf courses in exceptional shape.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Assist in maintaining and repairing the golf club’s turf equipment
  • Maintain a preventive mechanical and electrical maintenance programme for all equipment
  • Carry out repairs to golf course machinery and equipment according to equipment specifications as directed by the Workshop Manager
  • Inspect, change, and repair tyres
  • Adjust cutting units on mowing equipment
  • Assist to keep workshop clean and organised

About you

While a mechanical background is not essential, you must bring enthusiasm and a strong passion for learning, alongside high attention to detail and a strong work ethic. Other experience and attributes that would be beneficial to your success include:

  • General knowledge of tools and machinery 
  • Experience at a golf course is beneficial but not essential
  • Turf equipment experience 
  • Strong time-management and organisational skills
  • Full Driver’s License
  • Availability to work weekends, evenings and public holidays
