
The Huapai Golf Club has an opportunity for a skilled management professional to join its team.
The Club:
Located on the edge of the Waitemata Harbour and only 5 minutes from the
Northwestern Motorway, 10 minutes from Albany Hill and only 20 minutes from the CBD, Huapai Golf Club is one of New Zealand’s finest country courses.
The position:
The position reports to the Chair of the Club’s Board. While golfing or a sporting background would be valuable, it is not vital. Proven successful management in a business or similar organization would be advantageous.
Key Attributes:
The role will be to oversee the daily running of our club including:
- Ensuring smooth day-to-day running of the club and all applicable compliance responsibilities.
- Financial Management and administration.
- Marketing and promotional work, including working with a third party to secure and retain business partnerships.
- Overseeing all staff and managing all staff-related matters.
- Assisting with running of club tournaments and events.
- A prominent level of focus on providing great customer experiences.
- Exceptional stakeholder management including members, guests, local government, and other organizations as required.
Qualifications:
Qualifications and Skills that would be beneficial.
- Tertiary qualification in Sports Management, Business Management, Marketing or a related field
- Liquor Control Qualification (LCQ).
- Current Bar Managers Certificate in accordance with the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012.
