
As General Manager, you will drive the strategic direction of the Club, enhance member engagement, deliver key business results and financial sustainability. Reporting to the President of the Board you will set high standards for all aspects of Club performance and deliver excellent results leading your team.
Key Objectives:
- Create a culture of excellence with all staff
- Deliver excellent business results
- Drive the strategic direction of the club
- Provide members and visitors with a first-rate golfing experience
Financial:
- Prepare an annual financial plan and a 3 – year rolling plan
- Deliver the annual plan
- Continually challenge financial assumptions to test their validity and currency
Member Relationships and Communications:
- Promote a culture of community and belonging
Regulatory Compliance and External Relations:
- Ensure the Club complies with all regulatory requirements.
- Maintain good relationships with external agencies and the community.

- Proven leadership skills
- Leadership experience within complex stakeholder environments, ideally from a sporting or membership-based organisation

General:
Hours of work will be as agreed between the President and the General Manager.
The General Manager will represent the Club externally, make statements to the media when required, and act ethically to maintain the Club’s reputation.
The General Manager shall ensure that the Board has knowledge of matters required to meet its duty of care obligations.
