In this full-time role, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our golf programme, golf course, competition and tournaments, catering to both our members and visitors alike.
What you’ll be doing
- Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the golf course, including tee time management, cart rental, and tuckshop management
- Providing exceptional customer service to all golfers, ensuring they have a memorable and enjoyable experience
- Coordinating with the greens-keeping team to manage the course
- Planning and executing golf tournaments, and other events to drive engagement and participation
- Assisting with the management of the starters shed and tuckshop including food and beverage operations
- Implementing operational procedures and policies to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction
What we’re looking for
- Proven experience in golf operations or a similar role within the sports and recreation industry
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to engage with golfers of all skill levels
- Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities to manage multiple priorities and ensure the smooth running of the golf programme
- Effective leadership and communication skills
- A deep passion for the game of golf is preferred and a commitment to delivering an exceptional golfing experience

We have a thriving membership of ~700 members and we have just opened the new ‘Tararuas’ 18 hole practice putting green and have implemented a top class pitching green area.
