Established in 1966, Te Anau Golf Club has a proud history and a dedicated membership that continues to grow. Our 18-hole course offers golfers of all levels a scenic, challenging round with incredible views of mountains, lake, and forest—a truly special backdrop that few golf courses in the world can match. As we look to the future, we’re eager to elevate our facilities and build on the high standards that our members and visitors enjoy.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Supervise and guide the greenkeeping team and volunteers to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and meet Board and Grounds Committee standards.
- Apply effective maintenance and agronomic practices and adjust as needed to maintain high-quality playing conditions and overall course appearance.
- Manage equipment, materials, and maintenance supplies inventory and co-ordinate repairs and replacements as necessary.
- Maintain accurate records including maintenance logs, chemical application records, equipment inventory and staff attendance.
- Create the annual course maintenance budget, monitor expenses throughout the year, and identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality.
- Promote teamwork and open communication within the greenkeeping team and maintain regular contact with the designated Board representative.
Skills & Experience include but are not limited to:
- Formal Turf Qualifications Level 3 or 4 in Sport Turf Management
- Mechanically minded
- Enjoy working outdoors with a positive attitude towards others and good communication skills
- Flexible with working hours – this includes rostered weekend work and tournament preparation
- Must have full driver’s licence
- Must pass pre-employment drugs test
