
Te Arai Links is seeking a talented, team oriented and passionate individual to join their People, Culture & Wellbeing Team team based on-site in Te Arai. Within its luxury golf resort, there will be a huge amount of diversity and opportunity to hone the H&S function for the business. You will be responsible for developing and implementing health and safety policies, procedures, and programs to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations. This role will involve providing advice and guidance to employees on health and safety matters, conducting risk assessments, investigating incidents, and promoting a culture of safety within the organisation.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and monitor health and safety policies and procedures
- Conduct risk assessments to identify potential hazards in the workplace
- Investigate accidents or incidents to determine root causes and implement corrective actions
- Provide advice on health and safety issues to employees at all levels of the organization
- Coordinate training programs for employees on health and safety topics
- Monitor compliance with relevant legislation and industry standards
- Participate in regular inspections of the workplace
- Prepare reports on health and safety performance for management
Alongside your depth of H&S knowledge, you will bring exceptional stakeholder management skills as well as:
- Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations
