The Lodge boasts an award winning landscaped garden that is a joy to maintain and where there will always be scope to bring your ideas and creativity to The Hills Family. Our landscaping is a key part of sympathetically enhancing the environment and you will be responsible for ensuring that the grounds are in pristine condition at all times. You will need to be able to grab our designer’s vision and run with it and have confidence in your decision making and will have the opportunity to build a team who are truly excited
about keeping this garden in its award winning condition.

Skills include:
- Excellent communication skills
- Knowledge of local planting schedules
- A desire to be a thought leader in the landscaping space and a willingness to get stuck in
- An awareness of machinery, automation, and systems to drive efficiency
- The ability to prepare and deliver a maintenance schedule for The Lodge garden and surrounding homes
- Being able to make decisions daily and know when to ask for advice
You will be part of the bigger team at The Hills where no two days are the same and sometimes it’s hard to believe how privileged we are to be here. It is preferred that you will be experienced in the growing conditions of the Whakatipu Basin, have a can do attitude and can make this garden shine.
