Reporting to the Golf Manager, the Golf Operations Assistant at Windross Farm will support the overall service provided to members and guests in the Golf Operations.
Primary responsibilities whilst working from the Pro-Shop will include, customer service, and support of the golf operations team with a view to enhancing the member/guest experience, driving range maintenance, presentation of golf carts and service areas.
Your positive outlook and attention to detail will support the engaging, safe, and compliant operations of the Windross Farm Golf Course.
Essential Job Functions:
Golf Operations
- Golf Shop – assist with member services, shelf stocking, card return, and competitions.
- Driving Range – collecting balls on the driving range with cart and by-hand, and cleaning balls before filling the ball hopper.
- Golf Cart Maintenance – cleaning the golf carts after use and ensure they are presentable and fully-charged for the next use.
- General areas – ensure that sand buckets are collected from parking areas and around clubhouse. Refill with sand and place back on the stand provided. Ensure the general presentation of areas is in-line with club image – assist with rubbish removal, general tidying, and sweeping/blowing surfaces.
- Adhere to cleaning and Health & Safety standards and policy.
Skills
- High attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work well and contribute to a small team of professionals.
- Passion & knowledge of golf helpful however not essential.
- Punctual and reliable.
