The Golf Experience Coordinator plays a key role in delivering an outstanding golf experience for members, guests, and visitors. This position combines customer service, event coordination, retail support, and day-to-day golf operations. Key Responsibilities:
Daily Golf Operations:
Manage and monitor tee bookings, walk-ins, and course flow using DotGolf or similar systems
Greet players and assist with check-in, course information, and rules of play
Ensure timely course starts, monitor pace of play, and address on-course issues when needed
Communicate course conditions and maintenance updates to players
Member & Guest Services:
Serve as a friendly, knowledgeable point of contact for members and visitors
Assist with inquiries about competitions, bookings, memberships, and general club activities
Help onboard and welcome new members into the club community
Tournaments & Events:
Support the coordination and delivery of club competitions, corporate days, and social events
Prepare draws, scorecards, results, signage, and prize presentations
Collaborate with volunteers and other departments to ensure smooth event operations
Promote events through club communications and social media
Retail & Shop Support:
Assist with the daily operation of the golf shop, including retail sales, presentation, and stock control
Handle point-of-sale transactions and provide basic equipment and merchandise advice
Contribute to regular stocktake and inventory checks
Club Committee Support:
Work closely with relevant Club Committees (e.g., Men’s, Women’s, Match, or Events Committees)
Provide administrative and operational support for competitions and programmes
Assist with implementing committee decisions and facilitating club initiatives
Attend committee meetings when required to provide operational insight
General Administration:
Maintain accurate records of play, competition results, and member participation
Update event calendars and assist with internal reporting
Ensure professional presentation of all communication, signage, and work areas

Preferred Skills & Experience:
Solid understanding of golf rules, formats, and etiquette
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Experience in customer service, hospitality, or event coordination
Familiarity with golf software (DotGolf or similar) preferred
Ability to work weekends and flexible hours as needed
