Tara Iti Golf Club is seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Clubhouse Manager to join our team. This role offers a clear pathway to step into the Clubhouse Manager position in March 2026.

Located on the stunning shores of Te Arai, just North of Auckland, NZ. Tara Iti is a private golf club known for its exceptional service, breathtaking surroundings, and commitment to delivering a world-class experience. Our intimate clubhouse and dining area allow our team to focus on personalised, relationship-driven service. We are looking for a highly organised team leader with exceptional service skills who thrives on building rapport with our members and guests.

 What we are looking for:

  • Proven leadership experience in hospitality, dining, superyacht or a luxury club environment;
  • A hands-on leader who excels in a high-end service setting;
  • Passion for excellence and delivering an unparalleled member/guest experience;
  • Strong organisational and communication skills;
  • A proactive, adaptable approach in a unique environment.

 Key Responsibilities include:

  • Working alongside the Clubhouse Manager to ensure the smooth running of the Front of House and Clubhouse areas;
  • Prioritise Member/Guest experience and communicate all information to the Food and Beverage team;
  • Assist in leading the team of passionate and dedicated individuals to deliver an unparalleled dining room experience;
  • Support the overall operation of the Food & Beverage team;
  • Assist with training, mentoring and professional development.

Relevant Qualifications & Experience:

  • A minimum of three years experience in the hospitality industry or high-end private club environment.
  • Intermediate level of computer literacy –  Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, as well as POS.
  • Excellent barista, cocktail and wine knowledge.
  • Full driver’s licence.
  • Minimum 40 hours of work, ability to work flexible hours over days, nights, weekends, and public holidays.
