Windross Farm Golf Club is seeking an individual to join their current greenkeeping team. The golf course is set in Ardmore, Auckland. The greenkeepers maintain an 18-hole golf course, short game facilities, driving range and native planting. The club offers a unique experience, with bold undulating greens and large, short grass surrounds. This role fits someone with a go-getting personality, who enjoys learning new aspects of golf course maintenance. The job is available for someone who has prior training and experience in greenkeeping or someone looking for a lifestyle change, that has always wondered what happens behind the scenes on a golf course.
The role will be part time, requiring 20-25 hours per week between the hours of 6am-11am to prepare the golf course for the days play. This requires mowing playing surfaces, changing hole locations, raking bunkers and anything else that is required.
