Prominent property developer Wolfbrook has officially acquired the Pegasus Golf Course north of Christchurch through a mortgagee sale.
The transaction marks the end of a turbulent period for the Pegasus Golf and Sports Club. The facility entered voluntary liquidation in March 2026 after accumulating debts totaling approximately \(\$9\) million.
The acquisition secures a massive landholding for Wolfbrook, a company known for its rapid expansion in Canterbury’s residential sector. The future of the site remains highly anticipated as the developer evaluates the prime recreational land for its next phase.
