We are seeking a talented Reservations Manager to join our busy Reservations team in Te Arai, assisting our guests and members from across the globe. This diverse role will see you maintaining a world class service standard and supporting your team to achieve this every day.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and overseeing the Reservations team on a daily basis.
  • Supporting and coaching the reservations team to work at their full potential.
  • Articulating our Resort offerings and rates to members and guests.
  • Ensuring that the reservations team work collaboratively with the operational teams across the business to provide an exceptional guest experience.
  • Onboarding and training new employees.
  • Managing and maintaining strong relationships with all third parties.
  • Ensuring a comprehensive knowledge of the resort offerings beyond the accommodation – including by not limited to Golf, Spa & Fitness and Food and Beverage.
  • Work alongside the Reservations team, as the first point of contact for the resort, to ensure a seamless reservations experience for guests, members and groups alike.

About you

With a strong background in reservations or hotel operations, you will transition into this role with ease, you will work cohesively with the wider operational team to carry out this varied role successfully.

Alongside your high energy, attention to detail and exceptional communication skills, you will bring:

  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in the high-end, luxury service industry
  • The ability to coach and mentor employees
  • Exceptional organisational skills
  • Proficiency with a variety of software and the MS Suite
  • Full Driver’s License and vehicle
