We’re seeking primarily a Spray Technician who will also undertake Greenkeeper duties in playing a key role in maintaining the high standards our members and guests expect.

Key Responsibilities
- Carry out spray application programmes across the golf course in accordance with established schedules, best practice, and environmental standards.
- Assist with the preparation, calibration, mixing, and application of agrichemicals and fertilisers.
- Maintain accurate records of spray applications, chemical use, and related compliance documentation.
- Assist with irrigation management, turf health monitoring, fertility programmes, and pest and disease control.
- Perform a wide range of golf course maintenance tasks, including mowing, bunker maintenance, course set-up, and presentation work.
- Operate and maintain turf machinery and spray equipment safely and effectively.
- Assist with course improvement projects and seasonal renovation programmes.
- Monitor turf conditions and identify potential issues relating to disease, pests, irrigation performance, and turf quality.
- Work closely with the Superintendent and Course Maintenance team to deliver exceptional playing conditions.
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with health, safety, and environmental requirements.
- Contribute to maintaining the high presentation standards expected at Tieke Golf Estate.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in golf course maintenance and/or spray application.
- Current GROWSAFE certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Sound understanding of turfgrass management, agrichemical application, and golf course presentation.
- Experience operating turf machinery and maintaining high-quality playing surfaces.
- A turf qualification (Level 3 or higher preferred).
- Strong attention to detail, a positive attitude, and pride in producing high-quality work.
- A willingness to work early mornings and occasional weekends as part of a roster.
Desirable
- Level 4 Sports Turf qualification.
- Experience with spray programme planning and calibration.
- First Aid, or other relevant industry certifications.
